Associate Media Strategist (Hybrid)

Are you a ‘media’ or ‘marketing’ nerd who loves to share new ideas? Have you just graduated, or have a year or two of experience in Media? If so, you may be a fit for our Associate Media Strategist role (AMS).

Our AMS’s learn all aspects of media and marketing plans to support the Media Strategists and Media Directors and their clients. This is a great opportunity to learn how media is measured, analytics are compiled, and strategies are presented to clients.

The AMS will learn how to develop client strategy, maintain client budgets, utilize data to find desired audiences and measure media outcomes. They will work directly with the strategy team to support specific accounts, work with the owned media and paid media teams on follow up items, as well as the account services team on client deliverables. Attention to detail, a thirst for media and marketing, and an enthusiastic work ethic are all required. This role has the opportunity to grow into a Media Strategist role with excellent performance.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Weekly or twice monthly check-ins with Google analytics with the Media Strategists, Media Strategy Manager and Director reviewing:
  • Performance metrics (whatever has been established for the client)
  • UTM setup
  • General website analytics (sessions, visits, time spent on site, most popular content)
  • Ensuring integrity of report, budget and ATB data
  • Record action items in meetings, follow up with meeting deliverables
  • Support Strategy team with research as directed
  • Learn and produce presentation deliverables based on strategy direction and results
  • Be a fearless and thirsty student of all aspects and channels of media
  • Learn to present data in a digestible fashion to both internal and external audiences



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Marketing, Communications or related field is required.
  • 1-3 years in a media or marketing role is preferred
  • Beginner Microsoft Suite experience is required
  • Demonstrated data driven decision making skills
  • Ability to communicate complicated tech to those who are unfamiliar with its nuances
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of integrity and the ability to protect confidential information
