Manager, Performance Analytics

We are seeking a dynamic, insight-driven Marketing Performance Analytics Manager with a strong technical data engineering mindset. This mid-level position will report to the Director of Analytics and play a crucial role in delivering analytics, insights, and data storytelling to our internal agency teams and client stakeholders.

This role requires a dedicated team player with a high level of collaboration, organization, analytical thinking, detail-orientation, technical prowess, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of strong background in data analysis and will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting data from different data sources to provide actionable insights that impact clients’ business decisions. In addition, you have strong marketing understanding, including cross-channel media, marketing analysis methodologies, and measurement strategies.

You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, monitoring, and analyzing web analytics data for our clients’ websites and digital media activity. We need someone who cares deeply about data, wants to make ourselves and our clients better, and loves the artful side of the scientific method.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data collection and reporting artifacts, ensuring accurate data attribution through tracking tags and pixels.
  • Create and present compelling dashboards and reports using Looker Studio or Tableau, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Analyze large data sets to solve business challenges, such as customer segmentation and targeting models.
  • Lead data collection from multiple digital media channels and integrate data with BigQuery, Supermetrics, and other ETL tools.
  • Develop analytical tools to provide insights into key business performance metrics and operational efficiency.
  • Support stakeholders with data infrastructure needs, troubleshooting data-related technical issues.
  • Set up and monitor goals, sales funnels, and event tracking in Google Analytics using Tag Management software.
  • Implement third-party tracking scripts and use tools for A/B testing, heatmaps, and visitor recordings.

Tool & Platform Experience:

Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Supermetrics, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau

Digital Media Platforms: Google Ads, Programmatic, Meta (Facebook), etc.

Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Analytics Tag Management

Tag Management: Google Tag Manager

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis within marketing and advertising, with agency experience required.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Analytics Tag Management.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS, and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, with a keen eye to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, executing with autonomy, and working in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
