Pinnacle Advertising Named Agency of Record for Kate’s Real Food

We’re proud to share that Pinnacle is now the creative and media agency of record for Kate’s Real Food, leading strategy, creative, social and media as the brand grows direct-to-consumer alongside its retail presence nationwide. The account was awarded without an agency review.

There are aisles in every grocery store where the products are basically fighting for your attention every single week. Snack bars are one of them. People don’t end up loyal there by accident. They’re loyal because a brand made them feel something the first time, and kept it up.

That’s the challenge we just signed up for. As our CEO Michael Magnusson put it, snack bars are a category people buy weekly, sometimes multiple times a week, in a field with dozens of competitors, which makes this “an exciting agency-of-record challenge.”

Bruce Thaler, CEO of Kate’s Real Food, called Pinnacle “the ideal agency partner for this moment” in the brand’s next chapter. That’s exactly the kind of trust we don’t take lightly.

What We’ll Be Doing for Kate’s Real Food

We’ll be leading strategy, creative and media for Kate’s Real Food, spanning campaign development, full-funnel media planning and buying, website optimization, product photography, DTC-ready visual content, and social and user-generated content.

Kate’s Real Food makes organic, non-GMO and gluten-free energy bars, kids bars, protein bars and chocolate bars, already sold at thousands of retailers nationwide and on Amazon. Our job is to help the brand build a direct-to-consumer channel that grows alongside that existing retail and Amazon footprint, not in competition with it. First work goes live in just over a week.

How This Fits Our Approach to Full-Service Work

This account reflects the same coordination we bring to full-service work across our client roster. Snack bars are a crowded category, and growing a new DTC channel in it means the strategy, creative and media for Kate’s Real Food all need to be pointed at the same goal.

If your brand is thinking about what an integrated partnership could look like, connect with us.
